3 Essential Reasons Why You Should Wake Up Earlier In The Morning

The early morning is a time like no other. It is the time of the day when you are more optimally charged than at any other time of the day. Now you might not agree with this especially if you struggle to get up in the morning, but research on early morning rising clearly shows the benefits. Here are three reasons for better utilizing this most profound time of the day.

  1. Your body is fully rested, which means physically you will be the most recharged you will be all day. Over my entire lifetime I have tried different times of the day to do my exercise. For over 20 years I have maintained a regular weekly routine of cardio and weight training. What I have discovered is that I am more amped and charged to do my workouts in the early morning compared to any other time of the day. I also seem to have more motivation to get and keep going with my workouts.
  2. Your mind is more focused. I like to use the early morning for reading and learning. It is quiet because no one else is up yet and there are few distractions. This makes for the perfect time to develop my mind and ready myself for the new day by reading inspirational and motivational material.
  3. You get to experience the world coming alive. I don’t know what part of the world you live in, but in my part, the early morning wakeup is accompanied by a cacophony of bird song echoing through the valley. Its beautiful and glorious. Its unlike any other time of the day, but you will miss it if you don not sieze the day, and the only way you can do that is to be up before the sun.

Productivity Tip: Find your reason to get up earlier and start your day on a positive note. There will be plenty of time to sleep when you are dead!
